Responsibilities include: coordination of equipment operation, product testing and maintenance; design and construct plumbing, electrical, air operated and hydraulic support systems for the high pressure vessels operation, including all interfacing equipment such as electronic monitoring modules and computers; develop and implement computer programs to interface with electronic modules; and collect, process, compile and report test date using both computerized systems and charts.
Requires Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Technology Engineering, or equivalent, plus one year of work-related experience. Light physical effort required to assemble and/or operate lab equipment. Requires working around large, heavy objects. Experience with high pressure hydrostatic pumping and computer operations, primarily Windows and LabVIEW, is preferred. You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply. This is a one-year, fixed-term renewable appointment.
