Penn State’s World Campus has an opening for an Instructional Production Specialist in the dynamic and evolving field of distance and on-line education. You will provide administrative and technical support to our Instructional Designers; update and maintain information in internal administrative systems; update and maintain Web pages; and assist in the production of on-line courses in the Learning Management System (ANGEL).
Requires additional specialized training beyond the high school level or completion of formal high school vocational program or equivalent, plus two years of work-related experience. A baseline level of technology skills related to Web production (HTML, Dreamweaver, FTP, etc.) and proficiency in MS Office required. Experience with ANGEL or other Learning Management Systems is desirable.
You should be an effective multi-tasker and work well in an environment that is constantly evolving to meet the needs of distance learners. Competencies critical to success are that you can work autonomously in a team driven environment where you play an important supporting role, are proactive to identify and resolve required fixes in courses for the IDs, exceed customers’ expectations, accurately process many details in a highly organized and efficient manner, and be effective in a talented and diverse team environment.
