The Communications Systems Division is looking for a diverse set of talented software developers at various skill levels of experience to prototype software applications and potentially support developing custom hardware applications. This job will be filled at the appropriate level, depending upon the successful candidate’s education and experience.
Minimum educational and work-related experience requirements are: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Science and Mathematics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This job requires knowledge and experience with C, C++, JAVA, and algorithm development.
A background in mathematics, Internet protocols, software system architectures, testing, and analysis would be beneficial. The successful candidate should be capable of working independently, generating test procedures, system requirements, writing reports, and conducting analysis similar to trade studies.
Higher level job may require supervising of engineering staff, interfacing with customers, and engaging in business development activities. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship required. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
