Assist in the layout, fabrication, assembly, and testing of non-standard electronic equipment. Ensure proper operation of, calibrate, operate, and/or manage equipment and experimental hardware in the Laboratory or in the field. Identify system faults, repair, or adjust equipment as needed.
Requires Associate’s degree in Electronics, Electro Mechanics, a technical or administrative program or equivalent. Light physical effort is required to assemble and/or operate lab equipment. General experience in operating electronic test equipment, the ability to assemble and test electronic circuitry, and computer literacy is preferred. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship required.
This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
